14 Restaurants in 14 Days—Where to Go for dine L.A. In & Around Marina del Rey

2018 marks the 10th year of “dine L.A.”—and if you’ve never tried this wonderful food-centric event, now is the time! Restaurants all over Los Angeles are taking part between January 12th and January 26th, giving diners 14 days of culinary artistry, all wrapped up in special prix-fixe lunch & dinner menus. And since Marina del Rey and our neighboring towns are known for our phenomenal restaurants, you can depend on the fact that some of the hottest spots to try during dine L.A. are just minutes from home.

We’ve compiled a list of 14 amazing local restaurants to sample during the two-week event—so check out their menu highlights, book a reservation pronto and savor every bite. Also, remember that most prices don’t include a tip—so make sure to take care of your servers (they’ll be working extra hard to keep up with the crowds). Bon Appetit!

Day 1:  RUTH’S CHRIS

Dinner Menu Highlights—Petite Filet topped with goat cheese & balsamic glaze + sides, cheesecake with berries. If you want to spend a wee bit more, they also have accompaniments and extras available (like lobster tail, shrimp cocktail and wine pairings).

Lunch Menu Highlights—New England clam chowder, Lobster roll, famous fish and chips. Wine pairing for each course is $12 extra.

Dinner Menu Highlights—Crispy calamari, grilled salmon with Bloomsdale spinach + crispy potatoes, caramel Crème Brulée. Wine pairing for each course is $12 extra.

Lunch Menu Highlights—Seared calamari, tuna Tartare, shrimp & avocado, Chicken Breast Salad, Tagliatelle with Porcini mushrooms, parsley, garlic & olive oil (Steak Frites entrée offered for an additional $6).

Dinner Menu Highlights—Rainbow cauliflower soup, baked pear bathed in champagne and blue cheese, Jidori Farm chicken breast with rosemary, roasted Arctic char with red Thai curry sauce, warm chocolate molten cake.

Dinner Menu Highlights—Cabbage baked in the embers, smoky grilled chicken wings, prime hanger steak, coal-roasted carrots with ricotta/herbs/honey/black pepper, broccolini with Cippolini onion/lemon-rosemary bread crumbs/chili oil + apple turnover.
