WHERE TO WATCH ALL THE NFL ACTION AROUND MARINA DEL REY

Hey Football Fans! Guess what kicks off on September 6th? THE NFL REGULAR SEASON! This could be an exciting time since both our city’s teams definitely have the goods (remember, the Rams made it to playoffs last year and the Chargers came pretty darn close—and sports enthusiasts are betting the Bolts will do even better this year!). Not that you have to be rooting for an LA team—here, we embrace all football fandom. That’s why in and around Marina del Rey, you’ll find great sports bars and taverns tuned in to every NFL game from the first to the Super Bowl.

Where should you catch the action? Check out some of your best bets around town. Remember, the first game (Falcons Vs. Eagles) is this Thursday!

TONY P’S TAVERN
4445 Admiralty Way, Marina del Rey

The tavern at Tony P’s is a big favorite among sports viewers with eight giant LED TVs, lots and lots of beer options (yeah—over 100!) and tons of like-minded football aficionados. If game time happens to fall on a weekday during Happy Hour, you score even more because there’s nothing better than tantalizing appetizers and drink specials! (Happy Hour: 3 pm to 6 pm M-Th).

KILLER SHRIMP
4211 Admiralty Way, Marina Del Rey

Another splendid Football destination that often intertwines with Happy Hour? Killer Shrimp’s bar! Not only do they have plenty of TVs to watch your favorite teams scrambling for those touchdowns, but from 3 pm to 7 pm M–F (and weekends from 3 pm to 5 pm), you can enjoy special Happy Hour prices on their tasty food and select drinks.

SPORTS HARBOUR
13484 Washington Blvd., Marina del Rey

If a straight-up dive bar atmosphere makes you giddy, Sports Harbour is your mother ship…especially for football nights. They have plenty of flat screens tuned in to the games, plus their bar-style food doesn’t disappoint, and is even a touch creative (i.e. Brie & Grape Quesadillas or Frisco Sourdough Burger). They also serve up some quality beers!

YARD HOUSE
13455 W. Maxella Ave., Ste 150-170, Marina del Rey

Eat yummy food (including a remarkable number of plant-based options), choose your favorite cocktail or beer (such a nice selection), and settle in for an exciting night of football (with enough flat screens to catch every moment). As with most excellent spots around the Marina, Yard House has a lively Happy Hour that will be in full swing during some of those Monday and Thursday games—so take advantage! (Think half-priced Gardein™ Wings, Fried Mac & Cheese and that amazing Onion Ring Tower… plus awesome drink specials.)

90 WEST LOUNGE
12740 Culver Blvd., Los Angeles

Del Rey’s 90 West Lounge is one of those “Cheers”-style dives that’s just friendly, fun and wonderfully low-key—and yes, they’re big-time sports-friendly (and dog-friendly!). They have a first-class selection selection of beer, really good cocktails (big cocktails!), and of course—seven TVs for your football-viewing pleasure. If you like BBQ, you’ll want to hit this place up for their NFL Sunday event where you can dive into some fine barbecue for just a small donation.

THE SIDEWALK CAFÉ
1401 Ocean Front Walk, Venice Beach

We all know Venice Beach’s famed Sidewalk Café is the greatest people-watching restaurant on the boardwalk, but it also happens to be a spectacular spot to check out the NFL games. Mosey into the bar area and you’ll find 10 flat screens, comfy stools (if you can nab one) and a fun-loving crowd. And guess what they have on Mondays from 3 pm to 7 pm? That’s right—a special Happy Hour menu with a $5 house margarita, $5 well cocktails, loaded potato skins, chicken parmesan sliders, and a lot more.

Are you excited for the regular season to get underway? Tell us where you love to cheer your teams on in and around Marina del Rey!
