The luck of the Irish is on its way,

So, prepare for the fun, Marina del Rey.

On March 17—a SATURDAY this year—

our town will be bursting with St Patrick’s Day cheer!

Are you ready to get your Irish on for 2018? You better be, because this weekend, the St. Patty’s day fun is in full swing in and around Marina del Rey. So, don that leprechaun hat with pride, feel the bagpipe vibe, give in to your cravings for dark Guinness stout and have a bleedin’ grand old time! Here are some of your best options for serious Irish-style fun. Enjoy. Be safe. And Happy St. Patrick’s Day, people!

Whiskey Red’s
13813 Fiji Way, Marina del Rey

Tickets are selling fast for Whiskey Red’s 5th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Patio Party on Saturday—so if you’re in the mood for one of the best parties of the year, get your tickets soon! The price is $20.00 per person (plus a $3.16 fee) and includes a DJ, dancing, party favors, plus great drink specials like $7 Guinness, $5 Jameson Shots and $8 Irish Car Bombs (aka Guinness with a shot of Baileys and Jameson dropped in). From 5 pm to 7 pm, there will also be small bites to fill your tummy! (P.S. Don’t forget to dress up in your greenest, most Irish duds—they’re awarding a $50 gift card for the best dressed guest.)

Brennan’s Pub
4089 Lincoln Blvd., Marina del Rey

The new-ish Brennan’s Pub is hosting an all-day St. Patty’s Day soirée, starting bright and early at 6 am! Get there before noon for no cover charge ($10 after), enjoy their sweet back patio and indulge in yummy food specials (that now include vegan options—a perk of the new and improved Brennans). There will also be lots of live music (including the Dueling Piano Guys and the all-female Git’er Done band), plenty of Irish drinks available (i.e. the “On the Lash” fave—Jameson Black Barrel, Giffard Elderflower and Cucumber), plus green beer… a cornucopia of green beer.

Finn McCool’s
2702 Main St., Santa Monica

Looking for just a cool, fun place to grab a creamy Guinness on tap, listen to great live music, and enjoy some of the best Irish-style food in LA?  Finn McCool’s has you covered—people rave about the amazing Shepherd’s Pie (especially Boxty style, wrapped in a potato pancake) and plant-based fans, you won’t go hungry—they have a nice variety of non-Irish options you can enjoy like their vegan chicken club sandwich.

James’ Beach
60 N. Venice Blvd., Venice

If you prefer your St. Patrick’s Day on the beach-fancy side, then plan on going to the legendary James’ Beach in Venice. To honor the Irishness in the air, they’re offering some irresistible drink and food specials, including $5 Guinness, $6 Jameson cocktails, $7 Irish Flu Shots (seems like a must-have!) and corned beef sliders for $12 (and that’s only a sampling of the goods). Head up there after 11 am…the fun goes until 1:30 am.

Hornblower’s St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Cruise
13755 Fiji Way, Marina del Rey
